Regardless, players had often complained about the lack of new content in Chapter 2 Season 5. Apparently, the map did not go through any significant changes, and the storyline did not progress either.

It seems like Epic Games has worked on these mistakes with Chapter 2 Season 6. The map already has a brand-new primal theme, and the meta is full of new weapons and crafting mechanics.

The Mythic Recycler will deal 86 damage, which is 3 more than its Legendary version. Similarly, the Mythic Primal Rifle will deal 38 damage, which is 2 more than the Gold version. Additionally, the recoil of this Mythic weapon will decrease to 2.975.

Lastly, there is the Mythic Mechanical Explosive Bow. Its damage will increase to 98 (4 more than Legendary), and the recoil will simultaneously decrease to 4.25 (0.25 less than Legendary).

The primal forest might take over the entire island

The primal region on the Fortnite map has been one of the biggest highlights this season. As per leaks, this forest area will consume more POIs with the upcoming updates. These will include Sweaty Sands, Misty Meadows, and Retail Row.

It is worth noting that all the aforementioned POIs are near the Guardian Towers. In addition to that, players have noticed certain barriers and fortifications around them following the 16.10 update. All these developments hint at these locations getting affected by the primal forest in the near future.

As per SypherPK, the entire map will turn orange by the end of Chapter 2 Season 6.

Kevin the Cube will most probably return to Fortnite

The Raz NPC on the map who currently lives in Colossal Crops claims to be on a mission to uncover the Spire’s secrets. Interestingly, the markings on his body resemble Kevin the Cube from Chapter 1 of Fortnite.

The new styles for Raz that will arrive at tier 100 will further increase the effect of Kevin the Cube on Raz. Accordingly, many believe that the OG item from Chapter 1 will finally return this season.

All in all, this is just the beginning of Chapter 2 Season 6 of Fortnite. Alongside map and weapon changes, the developers have also revealed the LTM tournaments schedule for this season, and the community certainly has a lot more to look forward to.
