Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite has been a tremendous success, thanks to a plethora of collaborations with popular movie and game franchises. Moreover, highly anticipated skins like Ant-Man and Marigold also arrived in the current season.
Naturally, Epic Games will want to end Season 5 grandly, and continue the momentum with an even better Season 6. Back in Chapter 2 Season 4, Fortnite regained a lot of its user-base owing to its massive crossover with Marvel. Accordingly, many fan theories suggested the developer is now working on a Fortnite-DC crossover for Season 6.
But popular Fortnite content creator SypherPK recently rejected such fan theories. The streamer is confident that Batman will play an important role in Chapter 2 Season 6. However, it is unlikely that the Battle Pass, POIs, and weapons will exclusively feature DC characters.

Batman will unravel the mysteries of Fortnite and Zero Point in Chapter 2 Season 6
Fortnite’s Creative Director, Donald Mustard, is a huge comic fan, and is also co-writing the upcoming Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic series. The series will contain six editions, and SypherPK believes that alongside every new comic edition, Epic Games will release a major update in Season 6.
The story in Season 6 will begin with Batman somehow ending up on the Fortnite island. Just like Thor and every other character that has entered the loop, Batman will partly lose his memory. Being one of the best detectives in the world, he will then work to solve the mystery of Zero Point and escape the Fortnite universe.

Furthermore, every comic will have a code, through which players can unlock in-game items. These include new emotes, cosmetics and innovative outfits for characters like Harley Quinn and Batman himself. To say the least, this is a great way to promote the crossover comic series in the Fortnite community.
SypherPK further added to the aforementioned Season 6 information in a recent video:

SypherPK expects a lot more story development in Season 6. Unlike Chapter 2 Season 5, he looks forward to witnessing major map changes now.
“It seems like Season 6 is going to be a complete opposite. We’re actually going to see a lot of story development in Season 6. We’re going to see a lot of change happening. Fortnite will be and feel more alive than it ever was before.”

Even if Season 6 does not cater to DC Comics, there’s a high chance of Batman becoming a Mythic boss. As for now, fans can sit back and wait for the new season and the first edition of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point that releases on April 20, 2021.
