The countdown for Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite has finally begun – it will arrive worldwide on June 8. True to its nature, Epic Games is constantly releasing puzzles, Foreshadowing quests, and teaser trailers for the upcoming season.

New futuristic weapons alongside weapon charms coming to Fortnite

It comes as no surprise that the arrival of aliens will significantly transform Fortnite and its meta. In fact, it seems like they’ll offer players their futuristic technology, which includes weapons like the ‘anti-gravity gun’ and the ‘Pulsar 9000’ shotgun. Interestingly, the latter is originally from the arsenal of Fortnite: Save the World, and will now become a part of the Battle Royale too.

Weapon charms might become the next big cosmetic item in Fortnite with Chapter 2 Season 7. The teasers dropped up till now have showcased items like a fish stick toy, a guitar, and glasses. Many believe that these will be unique weapon charms that one can add to their favorite weapons.

Batman from DC Comics coming in Chapter 2 Season 7 Battle Pass?

The glasses featured in one of the teasers have baffled the community. While some believe that it is just another weapon charm, others seem confident that this is a reference to Batman from DC Comics. The glasses resemble those of Clark Kent, the character played by Henry Cavill in the DC cinematic universe.

Another crossover that many are anticipating in Chapter 2 Season 7 is Star Trek. Fortnite recently posted “perfunctory salutation” on its Discord server, which is a direct reference to the popular gesture in Star Trek.

It is unlikely that the Battle Pass for Chapter 2 Season 7 will revolve around just two massive crossovers with Star Trek and DC Comics. Instead, it is safe to assume Epic Games will release a ton of authentic skins too.

Map changes and weapon crafting system

Chapter 2 Season 7 will obviously introduce certain map changes like new POIs; leakers have suggested a total of seven new POIs located in Sweaty Sands, Holly Hedges, Slurpy Swamp, Retail Row, and more.

Last, but not least, weapon crafting in Fortnite will get better than ever in Chapter 2 Season 7. There will be a new crafting material and even the existing Mechanical Parts and Animal Bones will be more accessible.
