Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite has been all about aliens and UFOs so far with the storyline, and fans are having quite the fun with it. Players have enjoyed the Invasion ever since it brought things like flying saucers into the game. The Imagined Order under the leadership of Doctor Slone has been trying its best to fight this alien invasion with the help of players and other NPCs.

New Fortnite Legendary Quest will test the loyalty of NPCs

Recently, the Week 2 Challenges for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 leaked online. Fans will have a lot of Epic and Legendary Quests to complete when it arrives today. This includes tasks like destroying equipment at Satellite Stations, entering a UFO, stepping onto a body scanner, and many more. Other than that, fans will also have to converse with some NPCs in the game to check their loyalty to the Imagined Order.

In this Legendary Quest, players will have to converse with Rick Sanchez, Rook, Marigold, Maven, or the Special Forces. They will have to talk to at least three of them if they want to complete the challenge and earn 30,000 XP for it. The leak suggests that players will know who’s loyal to the IO during the conversation. So, it’s interesting to see that some NPCs don’t share the same ideology as the Imagined Order.

Is Rick Sanchez working against the Imagined Order?

No one has a single idea about any NPC being disloyal to the IO. But the addition of Rick Sanchez to the list of characters to the Quest has definitely piqued the interests of fans. Fortnite added him as part of the Rick & Morty collaboration last week. Along with his character skin, the bundle also included his UFO cruiser, the Hammerhead Morty Pickaxe, and many more.

There’s a significant possibility that Rick might be working on a plan to fight the alien invasion alone. So it makes sense that he wouldn’t help the IO and take matters into his own hands. Fans can find out while competing in the quest when Epic Games releases the Week 2 challenges today, and it seems like this quest might have a lot of implications in the future storyline.
