Fortnite has seen its fair share of Marvel with LTMs in the game, where you could get the Infinity Gauntlet and play as Thanos and, more recently, get Captain America’s Shield. Then there was also the Deadpool Boss in season 2 whose yacht is now in ruins. And there is also a Captain America skin available in the Item Shop. Now, there is more good news coming your way as you have a chance to get the Hulk smashers Pickaxe and a bonus Hulkbuster style in Fortnite.

How can you get this in Fortnite?

The process of getting these may be a bit longer considering you won’t get them in the Fortnite store. Confused? Well, this requires you to play the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers beta drop. In a recent announcement, Crystal dynamics, the game’s developer unveiled more details about the beta launch. You get access to this beta in 3 stages. This may seem confusing but take a look below to help you understand better:

• August 7 – PlayStation Advantage Pre-order Beta: As part of our PlayStation Advantage, those of you who have pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers will be the first in the world to get your hands on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes the weekend of August 7-9. Pre-load: August 6.
• August 14 – Open Beta: The second Beta weekend will be open to the entire PS4 community as part of our PlayStation Advantage partnership. Pre-load: August 13.
• August 21 – Open Beta: Same as the above — our final weekend is also an Open Beta for all PlayStation players. Pre-load: August 20.

Hope this clears things up. Once you have access to the beta, the game will feature a HARM Challenge Rooms mode. Here, you will be able to test your combat skills with different Avengers. To progress, you will have to complete 3 HARM challenges and once you do so, you will get the Hulk Smashers Pickaxe and Hulkbuster style in Fortnite.

To ensure that all this goes smoothly, you will need to link your Epic Games account and the Square Enix Account. Also, double-check if your PlayStation Live or Xbox Live account is linked to the Epic Games account.

Once this is done and you complete the HARM challenges, you are good to go! Also,  if you couldn’t get these in the beta for Marvel’s Avengers, do not worry. These will be available at a later date in the Item Shop. More details will be revealed soon!
