Add friend

This is probably the most important step in the entire process. If you want to gift a Battle Pass to a friend, you first have to add him/her to your friend list in Fortnite. This is also to prevent you from sending a gift to someone you don’t know.

There are multiple options available at your disposal through which you can add friends.

The most common method of doing this is by inserting the username of the player you want to add. Each player has a unique username which makes the job easy.

You can access the Social tab in settings that will allow you to initiate the process. You can also just press the start button, while in the lobby, and it will redirect you to an option from where you can add friends.

Fortnite also gives you friend suggestions in the game. This enables you to socialize with people you didn’t know play Fortnite.

Remember, you cannot send gifts to someone who hasn’t accepted your friend request.

Gifting a Battle Pass

To do this, you need to select the Battle Pass menu, where you have an overview of your Battle Pass progress. At the top left corner, you will find an option to gift a Battle Pass to one of your friends.

It’s important to note that you can gift the Battle Pass to just 5 friends, and that’s your limit for the day. The cost of the Battle Pass is usually around 950 V-bucks or $9.50 if you’re purchasing it for a friend.
