The current season in Fortnite has picked up its pace and is in a really good place right now. Chapter 2 Season 6 has seen a roster of collaborations and crossover events that have boosted the fan community of the game. The addition of the Neymar Jr. skin bundle, along with the soccer quests, has been in the center stage for as long as they have been around. With the arrival of Soccer-themed quests, fans have been wondering whether they will get to see an NBA-themed event in the game anytime soon. As it turns out, it might be a possibility.

Amidst all the talk going around in the community, we now have some pretty solid news about the aforementioned possibility. According to the popular Fortnite data miner and leaker, iFireMonkey, the game will soon be getting an NBA crossover event along with community battles. This one will be part of an official collaboration between Fortnite and the NBA. Players can support one of the 30 NBA teams and lead it to victory by playing the game.

Basically, what players have to do is select one of the 30 NBA teams and complete different in-game Daily Tasks. Completion of these tasks will grant them points for their team.
