The war is on between Apple and Fortnite in the federal courtrooms. This conflict is giving a hard time to the Fortnite players on iOS. They own a platform and cannot play their favorite game on it, through no fault of their own.

Judge Yvonne Gonzales Rogers had refused Epic any right to instate the game on Apple’s App Store until they resolved the conflict legally. Therefore, there is no real estimate as to when the two companies will resolve the issue. Nonetheless, one thing that is certain is Fortnite will not come back to iOS until the trial has ended.

Some good news for Fortnite players on iOS

Epic is now overcompensating Fortnite players on iOS platforms. To restore all the friendly relations, players on iOS will now get free V-bucks. This in-game currency will amount to the unspent bucks on their account.

This is good news for those who were extravagant in the game. It will mean some thousand V-bucks without spending a dime in the actual world. Even though Epic rolled out the grant on November 9, it will be some time before the players actually receive it.

Even though the V-bucks the players will receive will be what they owned already, the bonus will be a welcome initiative. The cross-platform compatibility of V-bucks is not the very best out there. For example, users cannot transfer them from PlayStation to Nintendo Switch. Anyone with an iOS Fortnite account will welcome this on any other platform they play the game on now.
