Fortnite has been a forerunner in employing a certain amount of innovation for in-game content. In the previous season, we saw a plethora of collaborations and the addition of NPCs into the game. Prior to that, we had the action-packed Marvel-themed season that ended with a bang. But, as it turns out, Epic Games still has a few tricks up its sleeve.

The addition of NPCs is perhaps one of the most impressive additions to the game, and is certainly one of the most popular features right now. However, there is one NPC whom almost nobody has met in the game. Turns out, this NPC does not even spawn in every game. We all know by now how good Epic is with hiding Easter eggs and references in the game for players to find. Well, this time it is a spooky, mysterious NPC, and it gets way interesting!

This NPC probably has something to do with the graves at Stack Shack. Now, Stack Shack has been in this game since the beginning of Chapter 2, and most likely, this NPC has been around since then as well.

If you visit Stack Shack, you will find three graves in the compound. However, the coffin seems to have pushed itself and resurfaced in one of the graves. It’s almost as if what was resting inside is on the outside now. We believe that what escaped this coffin is, in fact, our coveted NPC.

Now, following all folklore, this digital does not spawn in matches during the daytime. In order to meet our special friend, you will have to wait until it is dark. We suggest gathering at least some loot in the meantime, so as to save yourselves in case you are attacked. Also, try to get a squad mate to accompany you, and you should preferably keep a car handy.

In order to look for this NPC, you need to head down to the Weeping Woods. As you know, this is a pretty big location, and there is no fixed area for the NPC to spawn. This is where the car comes in. If you are lucky, you will be able to meet Willow, our Spooky friend. Willow somewhat looks like a human-shaped Patronus, so stumbling upon it in the woods is actually a beautiful moment. But that’s not all! You can trade some pretty cool items from this NPC in return for gold.

However, Willow disappears and disintegrates with the first rays of sunlight. Well, not all good things last long. But you can always come back in another game to try to meet it again!
