The Marvel Easter Eggs are really hidden in the most unexpected places in Fortnite

The whole purpose of having Easter Eggs is to hide them and let players go that extra step to find them. In a game like Fortnite, this game of hide and seek reaches a whole new level.

Wolverine Berserker Set

In the secret skin challenges for Wolverine, a spray cosmetic is named  Berserker Barrage. This is definitely not a random name, but a reference to a Wolverine move from the Marvel vs Capcom game. A lot of players may not know this, but Marvel veterans must have cracked it at a first glance.

Fortnite’s tribute to Stan Lee

After the unfortunate departure of Stan Lee, Fortnite had given the legend a tribute in its own way. As soon as matches ended, ‘Excelsior’ would appear at the bottom of the screens. Excelsior was Stan Lee’s catchphrase and he signed off his monthly columns with it.

While this is not a recent Easter Egg, it was a part of the game about a year ago. But the tribute to Stan Lee is nonetheless worth mentioning.

Fortnite is actually a part of the Marvel universe

The biggest Easter Egg of all is the fact that Marvel and Fortnite storylines are actually canon. This means that the current events happening in the Fortnite storyline are true events based on the comics. Thor and Galactus coming to the island, and everything else that the other characters are doing is an actual timeline in the Marvel Universe as well.

These were the most noticeable Easter Eggs in the game, but others like Thor’s Noobmaster 69, Doom’s Domain, Black Panther’s monument, and Stark Industries are also a part of the game. It is always great to see the new season themes for Fortnite every season.
