Following a hit Marvel-themed Season 4, it seems like Epic Games has devised the perfect strategy to attract a large audience towards Fortnite. The developer constantly collaborates with huge brands to design new skins and items for the players.

Naturally, Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite has also witnessed a plethora of such collaborations. These include the Mandalorian, Predator, Kratos, and Master Chief, to name a few.
The community was still celebrating the Gangnam Style dance recently introduced in the game, and the developers have teased another collaboration already. From the looks of it, Snake Eyes from popular military science fiction film series G.I. Joe will now arrive on the island.

Snake Eyes might be the next bounty hunter in Fortnite
Fortnite recently posted an audio on Twitter that is most probably a teaser for Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe.

Here’s what the “incoming transmission” by Agent Jonesy said.
“Reality Log 10155! Sorry, hearing’s a little short because wow! It is just non-stop laser guns and explosions here. So, this target’s going to be perfect, him and his buddies are all the real deal and they have the best code names. Whoever’s unlucky enough to be in his crosshairs will never hear them coming. But, if they could, then they would know he means business, and knowing is half the battle”
“Knowing is half the battle” is a popular G.I. Joe slogan, and the tweet describes the target as a Ninja Master. Snake Eyes is an accomplished Ninja Master in G.I. Joe; hence, it is safe to assume that he will be the next bounty hunter in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5.
Will the Snake Eyes skin be too generic?
It will be interesting to see how Snake Eyes fits amidst the wide range of Fortnite skins that have released up till now. Owing to his Ninja black outfit, Snake Eyes outright matches many existing skins like 8-Ball. Fortnite also boasts several camouflage skins, and the G.I. Joe character might not stand out on that list too.

Regardless, G.I. Joe fans love Snake Eyes, and will certainly prefer him over the similar skins in Fortnite. We are eagerly waiting for other characters from the franchise to arrive in the Item Shop as well.
