The current season in Fortnite has been nothing but successful. As always, Epic knows how to keep its community happy and has done so significantly with the additions this season. Chapter 2 Season 5 has been a worthy follow-up to the action-packed Marvel-themed season. The current season has introduced a variety of NPCs and bounty hunters in the game, making the gameplay more intense after many pros and players complained about the lack of action.

As we are nearing the end of the current season, Epic has made a major change to the gun rotation of the game with the last update of the season. The current Fortnite 15.50 update made a major change to the gameplay meta. In order to bring an element of balance to the weapons meta of the game, Epic keeps adding and vaulting weapons.

With the latest update, Epic has vaulted the Desert Eagle adaptation of Fortnite; the Hand Cannon is no longer a part of the gun rotation. Instead, Epic has brought back the Rapid Fire SMG in the running. While the Hand Cannon was a mass-favorite, the Rapid Fire has started to claim dominance in the meta really fast.
