Epic Games has kept up the tradition of having an end-of-season event in Fortnite. This event usually marks the end of one season and the beginning of the new one. However, Chapter 2 Season 6 was different as we had a playable storyline at the start of the new season. Thus, it is a possibility that Epic will continue with this scheme for the coming seasons.

At the start of the season, we saw The Foundation and Agent Jonesy attempt to stabilize the Zero Point. In the process, the Foundation gets trapped in the Zero Point. Renamed the Spire, the Zero Point now sits in the middle of the map and seems to be central to the Fortnite storyline.

How will challenges influence the Fortnite storyline?
The Spire quests are a part of the new season. These are challenges and tasks that players must complete for Raz, Tarana, and other NPC’s in order to further understand the significance of the Zero Point. From these challenges so far, we have learned that the Zero Point has the power to corrupt any character on the island. This can be seen in the case of Raz as he takes on his glyph form.
Other strange events in Fortnite also hint towards what we can expect from the end of the season. Bunker Jonesy tells us that somebody has been tampering with the telescopes located across the map. According to him “someone doesn’t want us looking at the stars.” There is also a challenge to examine crashed helicopters around the map of Fortnite.

Lastly, Bunker Jonesy will challenge us to use a radio. During this conversation, he says “Oh no, I hope she knows what shows getting herself into.” He could be referring to Tarana or the Spire Assasin who are characters in this storyline. Coupled with the DC universe merging with Fortnite and we have a crazy end-of-season event on our hands.
Could we see the Zero Point corrupt our beloved DC heroes? Or will the Foundation find a way to escape? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
