There can be no doubt about the seemingly unfaltering popularity of Fortnite. One of the first titles of the Battle Royale genre, this game has managed to stay on the top of everyone’s minds. Fortnite occasionally includes elements from various other pop-culture fandoms and maintains its relevance as well as its fan base. This is why a majority of streamers and YouTube content creators gravitate towards this title in order to build a viewer base for themselves.
However, plagiarism of content is not something new in the content industry. There have always been people who use gameplay clips of other players and pros and publish them under their own channel. Due to the current copyright policies, however, this issue has reduced by a great deal.
Recently, a Fortnite content creator called out a major YouTuber for stealing his clips and using them in his content. Pinnokeyo is a streamer on YouTube who has a relatively smaller viewer base. However, a major YouTuber, ItsJerian, has allegedly been stealing clips from the former and posting them on his channel.

Content theft is not an uncommon felony among content creators. However, it certainly is one of the lowest forms of oppression possible. Since Jerian is a major YouTuber with a quite broad viewer base, Pinnokeyo is not receiving proper recognition for the clips he made. Thankfully, the community has taken his accusations seriously, and many have voiced their support for him.
