Forza Might Be Secretly Working On a New Game

Forza Horizon is diligently working on its new exclusive title for Xbox series X.  As recent information from the Xbox Empire Podcast hints, a new title could drop in the next year.

Earlier in the year, Turn 10 revealed a teaser trailer for the Xbox Series X exclusive ‘Forza Motorsports’. However, GamesBeat’s James Grubb spoke about the possibility of another game in a podcast with Xbox Empire.

“We saw Forza Motorsport get teased a few months ago [but] I think we might get the next Forza Horizon game first, and I think that might be coming this coming year. They’re in a weird situation where for some reason Playground says it does seem like they may be ready to go first. I think I know the setting, but I’m going to let them announce it.”

Keeping the tradition and the cycle of a new game every two years, the possibility seems viable. The studio released no new game in the year 2020, something that might upset the fans.

So far, it has only applied a new patch to upgrade the performance and visuals of Forza Horizon 4 for Xbox Series X/S.

Future of the franchise

So far, the developers of the series have made no announcement. Judging by what the developers have said, their focus is only on the next year’s release in Forza Motorsport. Dan Greenawalt, Creative Director of the franchise, told Xbox.com what players can expect from the game.
