The Czech tennis player, Krejcikova, reached the final after delivering a jaw-dropping performance, saving a match point against Maria Sakkari in the semi-final and winning the match 9-7 in the decider.

On the other side, the No.31 seed Pavlyuchenkova defeated her semifinal opponent, Tamara Zidansek, in straights sets to enter the French Open final.

Having never played against each other in the past, for the first time Krejcikova would face off Pavlyuchenkova, that too in the final of the French Open. The stakes couldn’t be higher, whosoever wins, the history is in the making.
