Gamescom 2021 Xbox Showcase: Join the Mysterious Adventures of Raz on Psychonauts 2 Releasing on August 25

Gamescom 2021 has started off with a bang as Xbox has arrived with its showcase. The Microsoft owned brand has already revealed many of the titles that will release for consoles and PC. Many of these titles will arrive on the Game Pass, giving fans more reasons to finally purchase it. The event has talked about a lot of cool titles like Dying Light 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator. However, the celebrity of the Showcase is none other than the tiny psychic known as Raz.
The iconic character of Raz arrived in the 2005 platform-adventure title of Psychonauts. 16 years later, he will return to tickle the ribs of fans with the hotly-anticipated sequel titled Psychonauts 2. The game will arrive on August 25 for all Xbox consoles and PC, and it will also arrive as a day one release on Game Pass as well.

Raz has arrived to dazzle on the stage of the Gamescom 2021 Xbox Showcase
Fans of the original game have a long time for the developers to work on the sequel. However, it took 16 years for Double Fine Productions to deliver it, and they first announced during the E3 2021 Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. The game later released a gameplay trailer which included some psychedelic music from none other than Jack Black.
Gamescom 2021 revealed the launch trailer for the game, and it showcased the character that players will meet in it. This includes the protagonist Razputin Aquato, Sasha Nein, Milla Vodello, Otto Mentallis and many more. Along with that, it also showed some of the struggles and battles that players will have to face as Raz, and it sure looks like a lot of fun.

Solve mysterious conspiracies as part of a psychic organization
Psychonauts 2 will follow the story of Raz, a young and powerful psychic. He has now joined an international psychic spy organization called Psychonauts, and players will have to solve mysteries as Raz. In the sequel, fans will have to solve a conspiracy which involves the organization’s leader who looks a bit off ever since his rescue from a kidnapping. The platform adventure title will have a lot of quirky levels with a story full of humor and quips. Additionally, players can battle enemies using Raz’s various abilities like slowing down time, and they can also use them to solve puzzles as well.

The game will release within a day, and fans can’t wait to try the latest title from an Xbox Game Studio. The original has become a cult classic over the years, and it seems like fans will find similar enjoyment with the sequel as well.
