Grand Theft Auto and Aliens are deeply connected. At least, when it comes to the lore of the series and Rockstar Games’ easter eggs referencing the extraterrestrials. Remember the alien weed mission? Given that GTA V had tons of such moments, fans are expecting GTA 6 to deliver similar elements. Especially after the recent viral incident surrounding a rumored ‘Alien footage’ from Miami Mall in Florida.

The record breaking trailer gave fans a pretty good idea of things to come. And one thing that stood out is the parodies. The trailer featured many moments, like the alligator in the pool, a woman twerking dancing atop a car, a cop chasing a naked man down the street and more. What’s funny is the uncanny resemblance to similar real-life incidents. So keeping the theme in mind, it’s not out of the question for GTA to toy with the idea of aliens apparently showing up in Miami.

Fans would love to see a parody of the alleged alien footage from Miami Mall in GTA 6

For the uninitiated, the internet broke recently when a viral footage was shared on social media. According to reports, an incident on January 1, 2024 had occurred at Miami Mall, in Florida, where many police cars were seen. At first, it was revealed that few kids had caused a riot outside the Bayside Marketplace by setting off fireworks. But everyone’s attention went straight to a video that’s still doing rounds across multiple online platforms. What’s described by many people, according to their belief, is that a 10-foot tall alien creature was seen floating near the Miami Mall.

However, the footage has received divisive reactions so far. Some people think an extraterrestrial being was there, and that’s the reason so many cops gathered around the area to take things under control. On the other hand, many people are calling the video fake. Even community notes debunked the video misleading, scrapping the possibility of aliens due to lack of proof.

Meanwhile, gamers are taking this incident as a great opportunity for Rockstar Games to include in GTA 6. Going by the franchise history of easter eggs connected to extraterrestrials, it seems like a nice idea too. And let’s not forget, we have seen aliens in GTA before, in a manner of speaking.

Will GTA 6 Top This Outstanding Campaign Gameplay Feature From Red Dead Redemption 2?

The concept of aliens in GTA could inspire a mission in GTA 6 similar to Grass Roots, a Strangers and Freaks mission in GTA V. In that mission, Michael approaches Barry, who has set up a table with a banner calling to legalize weed. Once the weed kicked in, Michael finds himself with a minigun, and the mission is to kill aliens! Perhaps GTA 6 could feature something similar.

While the trailer didn’t hint at an alien parody, one should not completely rule out this possibility, given that GTA 6 is still being developed. After all, GTA 6 is set in the fictional world of Leonida, which is Florida. And Vice City is modelled after Miami. Although it’s just a theory for now, Rockstar Games could easily join the dots. Who knows the full extent of their plans? It will be interesting to see what the devs have in mind.
