The Game Awards took to Twitter to share a list of some of the most highly anticipated releases of 2024. They also shared the release date of each game so fans can mark their calendars to get the game they want on the day it releases.

  • January 2024
    January promises an array of thrilling game releases. Ubisoft opens the year on January 18 with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, followed by the remastered The Last of Us Part II on January 19. The same day, brace yourself for Another Code: Recollection on Nintendo Switch. January 26 brings a double treat with Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8, offering diverse gaming experiences. On January 29, the enchanting Granblue Fantasy: Relink takes center stage. On January 25, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy hits Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
  • February
    February kicks off with Persona 3 Reload and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League released on February 2. The love-themed month continues with Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden haunting the platforms on February 13. Brace yourself for high-seas adventure as Skull and Bones set sail on February 16. The same day, old-school rivalry resumes with Mario vs. Donkey Kong on Nintendo Switch. Wrapping up February is the remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on February 28 and the much-anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on February 29 for PlayStation 5.

    March sees the arrival of horror with The Outlast Trials on March 5, while March 20 brings back the iconic Alone in the Dark on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. March 22 becomes a gaming trifecta with the highly awaited Dragon’s Dogma 2, Princess Peach: Showtime!, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

    April brings Tales of Kenzera: Zau on April 23, offering an epic tale. Braid: Anniversary Edition wraps up the month on April 30, celebrating a classic. Also, don’t miss Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on April 23 for various platforms, and Netflix subscribers can dive into Braid, Anniversary Edition on iOS or Android.
  • June
    June 4 marks a milestone with the release of Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
  • August
    August 20 unveils the visually stunning Black Myth Wukong.
  • September
    The gaming calendar concludes on September 9 with the release of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, promising intense sci-fi battles.

There are way too many games that will be released in 2024 but the devs have not yet stated the release date. This could mean that these games are in the final stages of their development and the studio is taking time to launch the game when it is as refined as it can get.
