Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mode may still be missing something. It has been mostly fun to play. Thanks to its extraction-based format, it has been one of the modes consistently engaging players. Still, some fans believe the mode can further improve with more unique features specifically created for MWZ.

Modern Warfare Zombies consists of a captivating open-world environment. Unlike last year’s extraction-based DMZ mode, it has got the setup of PvE. Players engage in fights with zombies and AI enemies instead of killing other human players. Here, isn’t there a need for a way to keep track of all the kills scored by players in the map of Urzikstan? At least that’s what an insider thinks so.

Detonated, an account on X known for sharing major updates on COD games, recently dropped a post. This time, it wasn’t about mentioning a newly leaked intel on MW3. The user who runs the social media account wrote that Modern Warfare Zombies “NEEDS a ‘Scoreboard’ to track eliminations.”

To better explain the point, Detonated mentioned that having a Scoreboard in Modern Warfare Zombies will be beneficial. Using it will be convenient to track down Camo Challenges and much more. Players will be able to keep a check on all the rewards connected to several lucrative quests.

Thus, the Scoreboard will likely give more clarity rather than just doing guess work, according to Detonated. In its entirety, the suggestion sounds fun and will surely keep players engaged.

As of now, Modern Warfare Zombies doesn’t feature a proper system to check kills scored by different players who take down infinite waves of zombies and deadly creatures. Yes, there’s the format for every individual to see the mission report with personal stats showing the amount of kills. But the same thing is not present in relation to having a singular option to check eliminations from everyone who joins a given match.

The team of Treyarch Studios – behind MW3 Zombies mode – has always tried to make the zombies experience exciting. It’s quite evident by looking at the studio’s work on its own Black Ops installments featuring round-based zombies. While the iteration revealed in Modern Warfare Universe differs vastly from the world of Black Ops, one can assume Treyarch will try to make it even better going forward.

However, fans will have to wait to get an actual update on something like a Scoreboard. It’s not a difficult thing to add to the game. Hence, it will be interesting to see whether the devs will bring this feature to MWZ or not in the new year.
