At the PlayStation partner awards, Resident Evil 4 remake director Yasuhiro Anpo told IGN, “We’ve released three remakes so far and they have all been received very well. Since it allows a modern audience to play these games, it is something I am happy to do as someone that loves these older games, and we want to continue doing more. What game we will remake in the future is something that we would like to announce in the future, so please look forward to it.”

Most of the fans believe Capcom aims at improving and adapting the same universe without altering the soul of a title. For instance, with completely redesigned graphics, the Resident Evil 4 remake introduces the RE4 tale to a new generation of gamers. Character models have more detail, while the environment of the game has better textures and all the modern game’s graphical enhancements.

Also, treating much-awaited sequels like Tekken 8, the developers make sure they cater to all the veterans of the game while also pitching it to the new ones. Thus, it will be exciting to see what other RE remakes Capcom brings to the table considering there’s another highly anticipated horror remake that’s been under the sheets for a while, Silent Hill!
