Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players have been enjoying the Zombies mode since its global reveal. So much so, that most of them are spending more time in the map of Urzikstan than diving into Multiplayer games. And now, the devs have offered an exclusive opportunity for non-COD users to try out the paid Zombies experience for completely free!

Modern Warfare Zombies comprises various elements from last year’s DMZ and past Black Ops titles. While it has the aspect of infiltration, loot, and extraction, the mode also features iconic Wonder Weapons like V-R11, Ray Gun, and the beloved Perk-a-Colas. Now, all of them will be available for free. Yes, players won’t have to pay a premium price of $70 to have a little fun in MWZ.

Here’s how to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies for free

For the uninitiated, Call of Duty’s team always keeps trying to attract new players to the FPS franchise by unveiling lucrative offers. The Free Access Period is part of this exact strategy. Thanks to a recently revealed announcement, the devs have confirmed that players can enjoy the paid Zombies content in Modern Warfare 3 free of cost.

This year saw the arrival of the undead in Modern Warfare universe for the first time. And now, large hordes of zombies will also arrive in the Free Access Period for the game. Players who are new to COD and thinking to buy MW3 Zombies can play it for free starting from December 14, 2023.

With the free period, they “can get more than a taste of the new gameplay experience as they join Operation Deadbolt in their mission to contain the Exclusion Zone,“ according to an official blog from the makers.

While enjoying it for free, non-COD users will get to deploy in the open-world map of Urzikstan. They will be able to make infiltrations, complete numerous contracts and loot rewards while going against massive hordes of deadly zombies. Not to mention, there is a newly added boss, the Red Worm, in Season 1 update. They will also get to acquire high-value items like Acquisitions and Schematics. These can be exfiltrated from the match to use in future when deploying back into the map.

Since it’s Zombies, players will also get an access to popular items like Pack-a-Punch Machines and Mystery Box. They play a vital role in upgrading weapons and turning them into ultimate killing machines. Inside the fully cooperative mode – working with other squads – players will also grab the chance to try out Wonder Weapons too.

However, new players need to know that the Free Access Period to play MW3 Zombies is for a limited time. It will eventually end on December 18, 2023. Simply put, there will be only five days available to try out the paid content free of cost.
