Final Fantasy XVI had its moment to shine at The Game Awards 2023. Among all the announcements of new projects and updates, Square Enix announced a new DLC for FF XVI. This game is without a doubt one of the largest PlayStation 5 exclusive titles to launch this year. And that’s why this game getting an expansion is something of a big deal.
While the game probably won’t get a spin off or sequel, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 16: Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide expansions for the main game. While The Rising Tide will be released next year, Echoes of the Fallen is available to download for all Expansion Pass holders. A brand-new location to explore!
Echoes of the Fallen brings a new location for Final Fantasy 16 fans to explore. This location is called The Sagespire. It would be a fun time journeying through this exciting new area.
This expansion brings a new story to its players.
