Recently Sony has been stepping it up with their PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium services by offering players many AAA titles to play. Each of the services comes with different tiers of benefits that players can take advantage of. December is here, and it’s about time for Sony to update the games in their catalog, and this time, fans are in for a treat.

A recent leak ahead of the official announcement has disclosed all the games that are making it to two services. Players can expect to see some of the highest-rated games making their way to PS Plus Extra and Premium and along with GTA 5 being in the list, Sony has much more to offer.

PlayStation Plus Extra December games leaked

GTA 5 headlines the PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 lineup, marking its first appearance in any PS Plus offering. The announcement of the lineup last week generated excitement, particularly with the inclusion of GTA 5 and Final Fantasy Origin.

The changes in the catalog will be implemented on December 19 and players will be able to download the games starting at 10 am GMT, 5 am EST, and 2 am PST. Most of the titles on the list will be available on both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5, while Mega Man 11 is exclusive to the former.

Classics set to be joining PlayStation Plus Premium in December

While the Extra package caters to newer devices, the Premium services give players access to some retro games dating back to the PlayStation 1 era. By subscribing to the Premium services, players will get all the games included in the PS Plus Extra along with 5 exclusive titles.

Along with these titles, subscribers of Premium will also get trial access to Mortal Kombat 1 which they can play for up to two hours for free. The trial offers the full version of the game, allowing players to experience all features and modes. Progress made during the trial will carry over if players decide to purchase the full game.
