Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies received its first major update earlier this month. Season 1 brought a large amount of content for players who are still busy in finding hidden secrets and reward-specific quests. However, now it seems like the open-world mode will receive even more stuff in the new year, going by a leaked report.

Players have witnessed the introduction of magical Wonder Weapons in MWZ. Further, there are exciting Perk-a-Colas, too, to dominate the map of Urzikstan and take down large waves of the undead. Not to mention the abundance of iconic Pack-a-Punch machines and rare weapon schematics. But now, season 1 might be getting bigger and even better.

Reliable insider and COD content creator Detonated recently dropped a post on social media platform X. As always, the scooper had something new to share in relation to MW3’s future updates. This time, he mentioned details regarding Season 1 Reloaded. The mid-season update hasn’t been officially announced by the devs so far. But Detonated seems to have received information on what players can expect from it.

Going by Detonated’s claim, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is yet to receive a lot of content in Season 1 Reloaded. The mode will receive the following items:

  • Keres & Rainmaker Warlords
  • Exfil Streaks
  • Wallet System
  • Mule Kick Perk
  • Blood Burner Schematic

Talking briefly about some of the aforementioned items, there’s the Wallet System, which is still not there. It’s something a lot of players have wanted to see in order to acquire items for a permanent use outside of a match. If the leaked update is accurate, the Wallet feature will likely appear for the first time in the extraction-based experience.

Then there’s the Mule Kick Perk. For the uninitiated, it enables one to carry three weapons. With this, the third weapon will be the next weapon players buy or pick up from the Mystery Box. In case players lose this Perk, they end up losing the third weapon too. That’s how the Perk used to act in the previous installments under Black Ops franchise.

The Blood Burner is a nearly indestructible bike that is, unfortunately, nearly impossible to find. However, players can still hope to find it if they know certain spawn locations where the bike is more likely to show up. Keep in mind though, the spawning of the bike is random.

When it comes to the release date, Season 1 Reloaded is rumored to arrive on January 17th at 9AM PT, 11AM CT, 12PM EST. It’s based on the classified Battle Pass sector that confirms the update will likely launch in mid-January for Multiplayer, Warzone, and also Modern Warfare Zombies.

As for the size, Season 1 Reloaded is expected to weigh between 12-15 GB. That’s the general size even if the overall content doesn’t end up being too much, based on rumors. For those who want to compare, the Season 1 update was around 50 GB in size when it was introduced earlier in December.
