However, the hottest speculation has been about an appearance of Michael from GTA V in the next Grand Theft Auto. But is it actually happening? There is a possibility the last GTA installment’s protagonist may have confirmed his cameo in GTA 6!

Through a cryptic New Year post, Michael De Santa actor has added fuel to the ongoing speculations around his possible feature in Rockstar’s highly awaited GTA 6. While the latter had been fueling the theories through his recent interviews, this latest social media post might be all the confirmation we needed! 

Ned Luke’s New Year’s wish is a perfect ‘tease’ for GTA 6 fans 

GTA V’s Michael, Ned Luke, one of the three main characters in GTA V, took to his Instagram to extend New Year wishes to his fans. Unsurprisingly, the post invited attention. Albeit for an interesting reason. The picture posted in the greetings, as you can see, adds a lot of credibility to the theories. The palm trees, the buildings, the lights, and the caption..does it strike a chord? 

GTA 6 fans have alleged this picture to be a cryptic confirmation of Michael’s part. According to their deductions, the palm trees and visuals of the picture bear a striking resemblance to Vice City. Moreover, the caption which reads, “Happy New Year 2024,” is followed by 5 stars. The hardcore GTA fans may be familiar with the significance of five stars (wanted level).

Of course, even if the theories are true, fans cannot expect a direct confirmation from the actor for quite some time. This was revealed by Ned Luke himself in an interview earlier. The actor addressing the viral GTA 6 theories stated, “Who knows if even I’m in it. I mean historically you would say ‘no’ because they never reuse the protagonist. But I still have the NDA that I’m under so even if I knew anything I couldn’t say anything.”
