Fortnite is known for its collaborations which bring players tons of exciting skins. From Marvel and DC characters to Star Wars to musicians and athletes, the players have seen it all. But blink and you miss. The game boasts having over 1700 skins. But while most of them are easy to obtain, some are too rare.

Fortnite’s item shop keeps cycling skins with some not returning for hundreds and even over a thousand days. As we go further, from the original Tracker outfit to the World Warrior, let’s look at the top 15 rarest skins players can’t buy in Fortnite.

1) Reflex

First released in Chapter 1 Season 7. It was introduced as a part of the Counterattack Set. This skin has been out of the Fortnite Item Store for 1,756 days*, making it the rarest Item Shop skin there is. Players could pick up this skin for 1200 Vbucks when it was released.

2) World Warrior

It was released during Chapter 1 of Season 9 of Fortnite. This skin was a part of the World Cup 2019 set and was available for 800 V Bucks. It has been 1610 days* since it was last seen on the Item Shop.

3) The Paradigm 

It released during Fortnite’s Season X, and came as a part of The Seven Set. This skin was a limited-time outfit that players could only get during The End Live event of Chapter 1. During its release, players could buy this outfit for 1200 V Bucks and it has been 1533 days* since it was last seen on the Fortnite Item Shop.

4) Tracker

This outfit made its way back to the Item store quite a few times. But now, it has been 1495 days* since players had the chance to get their hands on it. The outfit was released during the first season of Fortnite. It was available for purchase for 800 V Bucks.

5) Shaman 

An Epic outfit that was first released in Season 8 and was part of the Moonbone Set. It has been 1483 days* since players last saw this outfit in the Item Store. Originally, the item was available for purchase for 1500 V Bucks.

6) Cole

Cole is an outfit that was first introduced in Season 8. This uncommon outfit was last seen on the Item Shop 1477 days* ago. Players could buy the outfit from the Item Shop for 800 V Bucks while it was still in the store. The outfit is based on a character that can be found at Retail Row, Shipwreck Cove and Steamy Stacks.

7) Trench Raider

This rare outfit was first introduced in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1. It was launched as a part of the Fathoms Deep Set. The outfit was released on November 16, 2019, and it was last seen 1436 days ago.* During its time in the Item Store, it was available for 1200 V Bucks.

8) Fourth Down [set]

This set is a combination of multiple original NFL players and their outfits. The set was introduced in Season 6 on November 10, 2018. It has been off the Item Store for 1420 days* now as it was last seen on February 3, 2020. This outfit comes with multiple styles that are based on real NFL teams. The set comes with 6 different player outfits and a golden Pigskin pick axe.

9) Scout

 

This outfit has been missing from the Item Store for 1418 days now. It was originally released on October 30, 2017, in Season 1. This uncommon outfit was last seen in the Item store on February 4. Players could buy this outfit for 800 V Bucks.

10) Travis Scott

This skin in the icon series is from the time when Travis Scott held a concert in Fortnite. Players could get the skin in the Astronomical Bundle of 2,500 V Bucks and for 1500 VBucks they would get just the outfit. It was dropped in Chapter 2 Season 2 as a part of the Travis Scott Set. It was first introduced on April 22, 2020, and was on the market for 5 days before it left without returning till today. This skin was last seen 1336 days ago.*

11) Astro Jack

Another skin from the Travis Scott Set, Astro Jack, has also been off the market for 1336 days.* It could be purchased for 2000 V Bucks and it also came with the Astronomical Bundle. This skin comes with two different styles: the default and the Sicko Mode.

12) Rue

This rare outfit was introduced in Chapter 2 Season 2 and came as a part of the Lil’ Red Set. Players could buy this outfit for 1200 V Bucks but it was last seen on the Item Store 1306 days* ago. The skin was released on April 25, 2020, and was last seen on May 27 on the Item Store.

13) Psycho Bandit

This outfit comes as a part of the Gaming Legends Series in Fortnite. It was released in Season X as a part of the Mayhem set. The Psycho Bandit is a character from the game Borderlands 3 and it could be obtained by getting the game on the Epic Games Store before December 31, 2020. The outfit has not made a return to the Item Shop in 1302 days* now.

14) Dante

This Epic Outfit was introduced as a part of the Muertos Set. It was released on November 2, 2018, during Season 6. Players could pick this outfit up for 1,500 V Bucks during its time in the Item Shop. This outfit was not been on the Item Shop for 1148 days.*

15) Kratos 

This outfit was launched as a part of a collaboration with God of War. This Gaming Legends Series outfit has been absent from the Item Shop for 1010 days* now. It was originally introduced on December 4, 2020, and was last seen available for purchase on March 19, 2021.

Note*: the number of days the skins have been missing from the Item Store is as per at the time of this writing. Meanwhile, there is always a possibility that Epic Games will reintroduce some of these skins in the future and that will only be confirmed when Epic makes an announcement.
