One of the most efficient ways to make money in GTA Online is to own businesses and complete their missions. These can end up giving players hundreds of thousands of dollars. But with the large number of businesses that players can invest in, it can get confusing as to which ones are worth it.

GTA Online comes with over 18 different business missions and while some give amazing payouts, others might feel like a waste of time. To know which businesses are worth, it will take some playtesting which can get quite expensive for a newer player. That is why we are here to list each business in the game according to how much money each property brings you.

10. Facility

Completing Act 3 of the Doomsday Heist in the Facility can earn players around $300,000 to $500,000 per hour. It is to be noted that the mission requires 4 players to play and does take around 2-3 hours to complete the setup and the mission.

Although this is decent money per hour, it can get tedious, and managing 4 player squads for multiple hours can be tricky.

9. Bunker

With upgrades and supply purchases, the Bunker can make just under $60,000 per hour passively. In 2022, Rockstar added ammunition supply runs, which gives players more incentive to get the Bunker. The Ammunition Supply runs give players around $50,000 per hour, and the reason the Bunker is placed higher than the Facility is that although it totals around $110,000 per hour, it can be done solo.

8. Auto Shop

The Auto Shop provides various ways to make money, including Exotic Exports, modding customer cars, and high-paying contracts. While Exotic Exports do bring in some money from time to time, the real moneymaker is the Auto Shop business of modding cars.

Players can mod cars that come into the shop and deliver them back to the clients for some decent money. Players can also use the staff at the auto shop to return cars to clients, which lets them skip the risky process of delivering the car without damaging it.

The best way to monetize this business is by regularly completing AutoShop contracts. Most of the contracts at the auto shop bring in around $170,000 per mission, and these take around 30 minutes to do. The Union Depository mission pays $300,000 and doing them twice an hour can rake in $600,000.

7. Salvage Yard

The Salvage Yard, introduced in 2023, has the potential to earn players over $400,000 an hour. Players can take on vehicle robbery missions which are like mini heists that give players the choice to sell the car to Big Bank or keep the expensive car.

Tow truck missions ask players to pick up vehicles from around the map and bring them to the Salvage Yard. Having a safe at the property gives extra passive income, making this a great property to invest in.

6. Arcade

The Arcade gives players access to the Diamond Casino Heist, making over $1 million per run when done with a partner. These missions can take around 90 minutes to complete, which makes it a good money-making option in the game.

With this property, players get access to the Master Control Terminal. This lets them handle all their businesses from one central location. In the end, players can start missions from the Arcade itself, saving the time that it takes to travel to the mission locations. In a game where time is equal to money, players can work on maximizing their profits with this feature.

5. Acid Lab

The Acid Lab is a passive business making over $60,000 an hour. The main factor that makes this better than all other passive missions is the fact that the selling missions require only one player to do it. Unlike in other cases, where there are multiple vehicles to drop off, making it a group task.

4. Agency

Security Contracts, pay phone hits, and a high-paying Dr. Dre contract are the few ways players can make money using the Agency. By completing 200 security contracts, players can increase the hourly earnings from its safe and make it $20,000 per hour. Each Security contract is easy to complete as they take only 5 minutes to complete and they end up paying $30,000.

Payphone hits are another way to make money in the game. This is by calling the GTA 5 character Franklin and starting a mission. There will always be two different ways that players can tackle the missions and taking the difficult method ends up giving a better payout, while not being all that hard.

3. Hangar

Improved in 2023, the Hangar offers both air and land missions, making around $700,000 an hour for experienced players. Money can be made by doing cargo missions for the Free Trade Shipping Co. This includes selling 8 different types of cargo, like narcotics and jewelry.

Sourcing the cargo from across the map and selling it brings in large amounts of money if done efficiently. The update introduced land missions which are much easier to complete, making this a great source for making money in GTA Online.

2. Nightclub

The Nightclub is a passive business with safe income and a warehouse that can collectively make about $100,000 an hour. This can be done by keeping the popularity of the club high, and that is an easy task for any player.

The warehouse also needs to be maxed out with all staff upgrades unlocked. Being a passive money maker that gives $100,000 per hour for just owning the property, it deserves the second position on the list.

1. Kosatka Submarine

This immersable vehicle unlocked the Cayo Perico Heist. Despite nerfs to the Cayo Perico Heist, the Kosatka Submarine remains the best moneymaking method in the game. The heist can be done solo, and the payout comes up to around $1 million per hour. While there is a cooldown that players need to wait for, before they can do the heist again, this is the best way for a player to make such a large amount in a relatively simple mission.
