Epic Games has built an item shop in Fortnite featuring 1,762 skins in the game as of the beginning of Chapter 5. The devs work tirelessly to bring new features and skins that most Fortnite players love. Many new skins are being added to Fortnite every month and with so many new outfits and features, it can be hard to keep up.

As we approach the new year, Epic is reportedly working on new cosmetics for the Item Shop. This means players will have a wider selection to choose from when they want to treat themselves or give gifts. A new Fortnite leak has surfaced on Twitter, which claims Epic is working on some more classic pop-culture collaborations.

Fortnite Item Shop December 2023 Leak

iFireMonkey, a reputed insider, known for Fortnite news and leaks, has taken to Twitter to showcase what they believe will be joining the Item Shop catalog. According to his tweet, Players can expect Star Wars and John Wick skins on the Item Shop starting December 21. Further, the leak states that the Lamborghini Huracán STO coming out on December 23 for Fortnite’s Rocket Racing spin-off game. Players can also expect a new Item Shop called “Start Your Engines.” In this shop, the Jager 619, Cyclone, and Diesel Bundle will be introduced.

Players can also expect the return of the Nevermore Bundle that was introduced back in Chapter 2: Season 8 with Raven and Ravage outfits. On December 24, Epic is said to be releasing Cell and Frieza cosmetics with a Dragon Ball mini-event.

For the last day of the year, Fortnite has exciting plans. They will introduce the Signature Style cosmetics. These cosmetics feature outfits such as Cuddle Team, Dream, Dummy Brigade, Galaxy Pack, Hush, Kyra, Neon Glow, The Brat, Toy Soldier, and Verge. Moving on, according to the leak, Fortnite will bring Marvel cosmetics to the Item Shop.

Marvel leak and Disclaimer

Fortnite will apparently bring Marvel cosmetics to the Item Shop on January 11, 2024. It is still unknown if Fortnite will introduce new Marvel skins, or will it bring back some of the iconic skins that were taken off the store.

In the Tweet, iFireMonkey stated, “I would like to mention that SOME of them might be incorrect. Some cosmetics like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Future War had incorrect dates, while others like MrBeast had proper dates.” 

With that said, it is important to know that the information from the leak is nothing more than just a leak, and should be taken with a grain of salt for now. However, considering the user’s track record, at least some of the skins mentioned here could be added to the game.
