MrBeast had arguably one of his biggest years. Having crossed 200 million subscribers, he is well on his way to becoming the biggest YouTube channel with only one obstacle left in his path. From paying a stranger to live in a grocery store to paying a stranger to fly all the way to Paris to buy him Baguettes, his creativity knew no bounds. But it’s the evolution of Beast Philanthropy that deserves the spotlight in 2023. This year, MrBeast and team have gone to incredible lengths to make the world a better place. And his humanitarian efforts deserve recognition. Is it finally time for the YouTuber to get a Nobel Peace Prize? 

MrBeast took a lot of big initiatives under his Philanthropic label this year. The creator took a huge step forward from providing food and aid to the needy around him as his ventures reached across the borders. From ensuring daily necessities to the deprived to being the ray of hope for homeless dogs, MrBeast fans have so many stories to look back and admire. 1) Rebuilding the Orphanage 

An orphanage that belonged to around 5400 children was at the risk of getting shut down. Fortunately, MrBeast and his team reached Khayelitsha, South Africa just in time and saved the lives of so many young children.

Beast Philanthropy helped the orphanage rebuild with a much bigger infrastructure and investment. After working hard for over six months, the team finally shifted the children to their new home. A home with safe rooms, secure good supply and of course a playground. 

Furthermore, MrBeast also decided to sponsor one of the kids from the orphanage struggling to pursue his passion for music due to lack of funds. 

2) Providing Aid to the Hopi Tribe 

Over 10,000 members of the Hopi Tribe were struggling for basic access to clothing due to the extremities of their location. But there’s no ground Beast Philanthropy cannot reach to help! The YouTuber’s team decided to aid the tribals from the harsh cold climates of their surroundings by donating clothes and other necessities worth over $2.7 million.

This massive clothing donation drive helped the Hopi Tribe withstand the cold season without worrying about clothing insecurity. 

3) Giving back “the self-esteem”

The next big initiative Beast Philanthropy undertook was in Cambodia when they partnered with Exceed Worldwide and gave away over 2,000 prosthetic limbs. Being a country with a high rate of amputee population, this initiative brought a massive difference in the lives of not just individuals but families. 

“It’s so much more than limbs. We are giving back people their independence but most importantly I realized that we’re giving them back their dignity and self-esteem,” the executive director of Beast Philanthropy, Darren stated upon fulfilling the initiative. 

4) Introducing the internet remote island 

Imagine living on a remote island where the internet is yet to arrive! The children are deprived of the internet global education. In fact, the island hadn’t had access to electricity for so long. But not anymore, team MrBeast had decided. The Philanthropy associates went to the island and built a solar grid strong enough to provide internet and electricity to the whole Island. This would now open a whole new spectrum of education to the children. 

Furthermore, the team also decided to build a bakery to empower the women of the community. 

5) Narrowing the distances 

Darren and Dan now flew to Kenya for MrBeast’s next initiative. To tackle the issue of access to clean drinking water. People had to ride on cycles to carry tons of water over large distances which became an issue. The struggles of moving long distances on pedals were something that was holding back a lot of people to a better quality of life. However, with the help of electric e-bikes, MrBeast took the burden off from so many families, making the journeys easier.

The latter distributed around 1000 e-bikes to delivery persons to eradicate the issue of the underprivileged struggling to get access to clean drinking water.

6) Changing the young lives 

Jimmy’s team became angels for kids; they sponsored 160 life-changing surgeries for children at Cure Children’s Hospital in the Philippines. 

For example, he sponsored surgeries for kids who suffered from clubfoot. The magnitude of all these surgeries helped reshape all these lives to a much better future. 

7) Helping the man’s best friend 

The next Philanthropic chapter involved the heart-wrenching story of over 2 million stray dogs in Thailand. A lot of these stray dogs were suffering from disabilities due to road accidents and needed a savior. Although Michael, an activist motivated to rescue all these dogs to a better quality of living, did all he could, it still wasn’t enough. Evidently, he needed aid and equipment to expand his work. This is where MrBeast and his love for animals came to the rescue! The team provided equipment, shelter, and funds to Michael to expand his vision of saving the strays. 

Probably, one of the most overwhelming stories for every animal lover out there. 

8) The Ray of light 

A TikToker called MrBeast for help to save her village and Beast Philanthropy didn’t disappoint. A village sanctuary in Zambia had no electricity despite being located at a very dangerous geographical location. The associates immediately figured out it was the lack of electricity that held back the village to its core true potential. 

By providing a massive solar grid, MrBeast helped a village lost in hope, thrive for dreams again! 

9) The mission to food security

When Jimmy revealed that Sharing Excess would be the official partner of their free meal campaign, the fans learned about the motivational tale of Evan, the company’s creator. Evan founded Sharing Excess with the goal of saving and gathering food that would otherwise go to waste and giving it away for free to those in need. However as the campaign gained traction, the expense of maintaining the charity increased. At this point, Beast Philanthropy intervened and changed the organization’s organizational structure. 

The initiative’s goal was to feed the underprivileged in more than 19 states throughout the United States.

10) New Classrooms

MrBeast has always preached the importance of education to uproot social evils. Thus, in one latest Philanthropic venture, his team built new infrastructure and classrooms for a village in Cameroon. The enthusiastic children returned to a whole new world after their holidays ended! Quite symbolically, new beginnings. 

With a new season being just around the corner, surely there are a lot of bigger plans in store for the creator to spread happiness and hope.
