Industry Insider Claims Marvel’s Blade to Be the ‘Launch Title’ for Xbox New Hardware!

The latest reports suggest players might have a much bigger reason to look forward to this Arkane Bethesda collaboration. How does the idea of playing Marvel’s Blade as the debut title for Xbox’s new hardware sound? Well, it may very well become reality as a credible industry insider has made a striking revelation for the next Xbox hardware schedule. 

For a while now, gamers have been waiting for a next generation Xbox console. While there have been plenty of speculations around the same, fans haven’t received anything concrete to feed on. Until now. Here’s why the Xbox users have all the reasons to be excited for the launch schedule of Marvel’s Blade.

In a recent podcast episode with Xbox era, Jeff Grubb talked about Marvel’s Blade and its possible future with the new Xbox hardware. According to his claims, the game will launch around 2027, as marked by Disney on their calendar. What’s more interesting is the fact that he addressed the possibility of the game being a launch title for the next Microsoft console! 

Internally they are expecting that (Marvel’s Blade) to be sold in-store and digitally in the year 2027. That is the year Disney and Marvel have put on to their calendar,” Grubb stated in the podcast. Taking the conversation forward, the host asked if there was a possibility of the game being a cross-gen game from Xbox Series X to the forthcoming console. Responding to the query if Marvel’s Blade could be the launch title of the new hardware, Jeff Grubb gave an intriguing response.

There’s been a lot of speculation about that as well. We definitely could be looking at new hardware by then. For real! Maybe that’s why they are not saying it’s for Xbox Series X,” he added.

The leaker had earlier claimed Microsoft was planning to bring the next Xbox hardware faster than planned due to the unfortunate FTC legal document leaks. Following the significant leaks, the makers scrapped the intended Xbox Series X “refreshed” version in favor of something larger. For context, the leaked documents disclosed that Microsoft had planned the Series X upgrade for release in 2024 and included some intriguing new features to the existing model.

While all these factors do amplify the value of Grubb’s claim, there’s no official nod given to any of these rumors. From what is claimed, the fans would have to wait for some time to receive confirmation on the ongoing theories.
