Trailer 1 for GTA 6 will release on December 5!

Rumored to be the most expensive game from Rockstar Games to-date, the upcoming title has been in the making for over a decade now. Several reports have claimed that its cost is close to $2 billion. But that’s a discussion for another day because now is the time to look forward to the trailer of this open-world AAA extravaganza which will surely break the internet.

On X (formerly Twitter), Rockstar Games posted the update earlier today. The studio has now revealed that GTA 6 will drop its first trailer on December 5, Tuesday. Further, the timing has been confirmed as well.

Now, it can be said that the official GTA 6 trailer countdown has actually begun.

What will the GTA 6 trailer showcase?

Despite there being a trailer date reveal, Rockstar hasn’t really mentioned anything regarding the clip’s details. The studio had originally shared an official news about the trailer last month while dropping a special message for all the fans.

The tweet from Rockstar Games on November 8 read, “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.” On a side note, this month will also mark the developer’s 25th anniversary.

While the trailer will be the first official look at the game, we can expect to see the things most players would first want to know, like the protagonist(s), and location. Who knows, maybe the trailer will give a glimpse into any of the missions too?

As far as the release window for the game is concerned, rumors have claimed that GTA 6 will come out at some point in late 2024. But again, one should take such claims with a grain of salt unless there’s a word from Take-Two and Rockstar Games.

For now, the only thing fans have to do is wait for December 5.
