Could MrBeast be the first creator on the planet to have 2 billion subscribers? Well, as impossible as the idea of having 2 billion subscribers sounds, if fans had to bet on someone pulling it off, it has to be the YouTube King! While currently, MrBeast is on the roadmap to dethrone T-Series from the most subscribed YouTube channel, fans are rooting for the bigger picture. Amidst all the ongoing buzz around the ‘YouTube Subscriber War’, a report suggests Jimmy might actually go on to hit the ‘ten digit count’.

Recently, MrBeast as a brand has enjoyed a phenomenal surge in social media analytics. Not just YouTube, the creator has witnessed impressive growing attention on other forums like Instagram and TikTok. However, the ongoing year has surely been a moving year for Jimmy the YouTuber. The creator broke the record for fastest to 10 million views for a non-music video and also hit the much-awaited 200 million mark. So, the excitement around his takeover of the T-Series crown has been hot lately. But the next five years might have a greater target to achieve. Here’s why the fans have started speculating about the creator’s 2 billion mark!

According to a Social Blade, the MrBeast YouTube Channel would be able to reach a 2 billion subscribers count in less than 5 years. As per their projections, Jimmy would reach the first ‘10 digit’ mark in October 2026 which is just two years and then months from now. Apparently, the 1 billion step would just be the beginning as in approximately just two and a half more years, the creator would be able to achieve the impossible.

If the predictions are to be trusted, MrBeast will celebrate the 2 billion record in December 2028.

The report invited a lot of interesting discussions from the community. Although the claim currently seems like a long shot, there are some plausible factors that make the 2 billion subscriber theory somewhat credible.

What makes the theory possible?

The claims made by Social Blade might be debatable however for MrBeast fans this is one big credible proof of the upcoming dominance of the creator. There’s no denying the fact that Jimmy rules the entertainment space on the platform today, but would this go on till 2028? Wouldn’t there be some more creator uprisings spicing up the content space? Most of all, would MrBeast be able to stay this consistent throughout the course of 5 years? All these questions surround the idea of him pulling off the impossible.

Looking at the current facts, MrBeast has 216 million subscribers with almost 9 million of them gained in the last 30 days. If the statistics remain this consistent, the 2 billion mark seems highly plausible. Another factor to note is that the platform currently has 2.7 billion accounts, and how many accounts join in throughout would also directly influence the projections. For instance, back in 2019, a report projected PewDiePie to have 725 million subscribers by 2024. Well, things changed. Thus, the chance of MrBeast having 2 billion subscribers by 2028 would only work if it were to be consistent and if it keeps up with the schedule of uploading.
