MrBeast loves putting strangers up to a challenge for an unbelievable amount of money. Over the last few months, he has organized many games and challenges, where the winner walks away with a couple hundred thousand bucks. The American YouTuber’s videos have taken a turn towards keeping contestants away from their families for a stipulated time, which involved a lot of personal sacrifices, only to send them back with a lot of money.

Recently, Jimmy took to his Instagram to share a reel about the latest challenge. He coupled up two contestants to stay in an isolation chamber for 100 days, and at the end of the time duration, they win $500,000. The main rule here is that if either one contestant wants to leave the chamber, both of them lose the challenge and get no money. The isolation chamber had basic necessities like food, a private bathroom, and a bed. The participants are blindfolded until the challenge begins. The isolation chamber is equipped with bright lights, leading to difficulties in sleeping.

The contestants for this challenge were a guy named Bailey and a girl named Suzie and it is to be noted that the two have never met each other before. Both the contestants are content creators, with Bailey having 77k followers on his Instagram while Suzie has been featured in an AIRRACK video in the past.

The challenge began with James Stephen Donaldson explaining the rules and he left the premise. Their routine in the isolation chamber involved repetitive activities, such as eating the same food and trying to entertain themselves. In attempts to stay entertained, the participants resort to making playing cards from journal paper.

To make the lives of the contestants easier in confinement, the American Youtuber decided to propose offers to both participants every 10 days. For the 10th day, he offered a private chef to cook for them for the rest of the challenge for $50,000 out of the total prize money. To this, both the contestants declined the offer. But with time, things got more tempting.

On day 20, MrBeast asked for $50,000 for comfortable smart beds and an iPad with the ability to control the lights. Which was declined by the duo. Day 30 got a little interesting with Jimmy giving the two a free TV but spoke of a $10,000 cost per movie they want to rent. This offer was declined as well.

The first time the two participants caved and spent some of their money was on day 40. This was when they were presented with a Phone Call, Coffee Machine, Spices, Monopoly, and Harry Potter books each priced at $10,000. Bailey decided to opt to keep the Harry Potter books while Suzie asked for coffee.

On day 50 things were different as it was Suzie’s mom’s birthday. For that, MrBeast invited both their families over and asked for $20,000 to meet them. Both the contestants decided to go with it. Day 60 came with the option of spending $50,000 to reveal a mystery box, which contains Tesla car keys. after refusing the box, both regretted it as they learned what they missed out on getting.

MrBeast had a different idea for day 70, and he asked them if they wanted all the conveniences that they missed out on. Both seemed eager to say yes, and that’s when the YouTuber shared the twist that they had to outbid him for the amenities. Both bid $100,101 together and won against MrBeast’s $69,001.

After this, not much happened except the two trying to entertain themselves until the time ran out. In the end, the participants are given the choice to split the remaining prize money or steal it. They both choose to split, and they each receive half of the money, totaling $360,000. As both decided to split the money, they took home $180,000 each.
