GTA V source codes were bought for USD 2000 in a group buy amongst the modding community. The group that bought the codes allegedly includes the users Austinator Modz, XBL Dragonfly, TMP, and SecretSauce. ‘TMP’, which stands for ‘TickleMePickles’, is reported to be the source of the recent GTA V piracy breach. The user contributed no money during the group purchase, which led to him receiving the codes for free. However, what follows after he gets the codes is what the chaos is all about.

The person going by the name of TMP tried to sell the code for $6000 and scam other individuals. When this trick couldn’t work for him, he tried selling the codes on Discord for as low as $199–500 USD. Considering the fact that he had initially made zero contribution to the purchase, the deal could still bring him profits. Fate, however, had other plans.
