Sentinels has just announced its comeback. The highly-celebrated Esports organization is back in the game and there’s nothing more the fans could have asked for during peak  season. As the year comes to an end, the Valorant Pros had the biggest showdown in store. 

The highly-awaited best-of-five grand finale went in full swing in Seoul today. Both the finalists carried their own sets of expectations and pressure. The stage was set and the stakes were as high as ever. However, one thing was certain. The spectators were in for a big treat. The grand finale promised to be an edge-of-the-seat experience and didn’t disappoint. As the VCT came to a conclusion, Sentinels took the world by a pleasant surprise.

Team Sentinels has been crowned the world champion of Valorant as the AfreecaTV Valorant League Championship concluded its final. The popular Esports team emerged as the winner in the grand finale against Paper Rex. Here’s how the brand reacted to the big win. 

It is important to note that while Sentinels had looked lukewarm throughout the year, Paper Rex has had one of the most dominant years. Paper Rex won the VCT Pacific league, finished third at the Masters Tokyo, and second at the Champions 2023. In fact, their hot streak of dominance seemed quite evident in the AfreecaTV Valorant League. After one initial roadblock, the journey to the grand finals was a cakewalk for the team.

On the contrary, the recent track record of Sentinels wasn’t convincing at all. But everything is history now as the legendary pros of Valorant are back at it. The team wrote, We are so f**king back,” and the fans couldn’t agree more. 

The post itself testifies to the importance of the win. The champions would not only take $25,000 home but the pride of ending the season with a Valorant crown. 

The significance of the victory 

As mentioned above, Sentinels had not been convincing throughout. But this league was a different story altogether. If a Sentinel player has to picture an ‘ideal comeback story’, this would be it. After making some changes in the roster, the lineup seemed the strongest it had looked lately.
