Stellar Blade happens to be on every gaming fan’s wish list right now. The craze for this project has rapidly increased in the last one year. Especially, after the reveal of new gameplay footage in September 2023. Although there are multiple PS5 games releasing in 2024, Shift-Up’s action-adventure title seems to be leading the list of the most wanted titles coming to the console.
The original announcement of Stellar Blade was made in 2019. Back then, however, the devs had introduced it as Project Eve. Later, they decided to change the name altogether. For the uninitiated, the game is being developed on Unreal Engine 4. Featuring the main character of Eve, it will focus on offering realistic graphics combined with fast-paced, fluid action sequences.
PS5 players are looking forward to Stellar Blade more than Tekken 8, Silent Hill 2, and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater

Currently, players can check the official website of PlayStation Store to see it for themselves. On the page titled ‘Latest’, the section for ‘2024 Most Wanted Games’ features Stellar Blade ahead of every other popular title that’s coming out later this year.
As one can clearly see, Stellar Blade is ahead of Tekken 8 – another upcoming and highly awaited PS5 title. However, with the increasing buzz and trends surrounding the character model of Eve, Shift-Up’s title has gained huge attention lately. As a result, it has jumped onto the first position for Most Wanted PS5 games of 2024.

This situation is crucial to note since Stellar Blade is from a studio that’s more or less new in the industry. After from few smaller titles, Shift-Up hasn’t really developed any significant AAA project. The upcoming title happens to be its big leap in terms of offering the best-possible gaming experience to a wider player base across the globe.
If one has to check the full section on PlayStation Store, Stellar Blade is also far ahead of other awaited PS5 releases like Konami’s Silent Hill 2 remake and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake. Both these games belong to the franchises that are far more bigger in terms of popularity. Still, Stellar Blade has managed to show its presence among the heavyweights.
