Stellar Blade is gradually turning out to be 2024’s one of the most awaited games. While fans are curious to learn more about it, there’s an interesting rumor doing rounds online, shared by an anonymous leaker. Back in September 2022, the game’s release window was revealed to be 2023 but late last year, it was delayed. And fans were only told that it would release this year. However, one gamer claims to know a more specific release window as well as the gameplay length.

Developed by Shift-Up, Stellar Blade will be made using Unreal Engine 4. Back in 2019, it was originally introduced under the name of Project Eve. Later, however, the makers changed the plans and gave it a new title. Apart from certain gameplay videos shared so far, there’s not much information available on this PS5 exclusive. But the recent leak may prove to be a much needed update.

Stellar Blade devs want to avoid big clash with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, claims leak

For the uninitiated, a mysterious account on Reddit had made some huge claims a few days ago. Although it’s been deleted now, the account was known by the name of LoanAggravating5964. Apparently, this person tried to reveal key details for Stellar Blade on the social platform. The Reddit leaker mentioned that Stellar Blade will allow players to choose unique outfits for the character of Eve. While replying to curious fans who couldn’t believe his claims, he tried to convince them by sharing additional information. Firstly, the self-proclaimed insider was asked regarding the release date of Stellar Blade.

In his response, LoanAggravating5964 wrote that the game is almost complete at the moment. And that the team at Shift-Up can easily release it early this year. But the studio wants to prevent the clash with upcoming heavyweights like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and Persona 3 Reload.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch next month on February 29. On the other hand, Infinite Wealth and Persona 3 Reload are dropping on January 26 and February 2, respectively. According to the leaker, Stellar Blade may get released during the period of Summer 2024, arriving before the end of the year’s first half.

Further, the insider was asked another question in relation to the game’s overall length. He revealed that Stellar Blade will probably have over 20 hours of content in its single-player story mode. Further, players will be able to unlock many attractive outfits while progressing through the campaign missions.

Plus, the anonymous leaker has already deleted the account on Reddit, so it’s hard to predict if there will be more news coming out from him. They have already revealed that tons of work is going on to make sure the final product is as entertaining as possible.
