GTA 6 pre-order date reportedly confirmed based on leak from Best Buy

For the uninitiated, there was a rumor earlier in November making claims regarding pre-order dates for the next GTA title. It mentioned that Rockstar would make the game available for purchase as early as December, following the trailer’s reveal.

Well, now it looks like the rumor might be true after all, in some capacity. At least that’s what a Redditor has indicated in one of the newest posts on the platform. Apparently, this Reddit user got to interact with a customer agent from the Best Buy store. After asking the agent in a chat about GTA 6, this individual received a mind-boggling response.

The person who goes by the name of XxRobloxNobxX on Reddit mentioned that the Best Buy agent told them the literal release date of GTA 6. According to the agent, “the product will be released on December 12, 2023.” But again, this can’t be true, as the developers won’t have any time to prepare for the marketing campaign, let alone launch the game itself.

However, it seems like December 12 might be the actual date of GTA 6 pre-orders going live. This means Rockstar might reveal the trailer in the first week or just a day before the pre-order day. For now, one can only wait or speculate, to say the least.

When is the GTA 6 trailer coming out?

Rockstar co-founder and president Sam Houser first shared the trailer update on November 8, 2023. His post on X has already amassed a record-breaking impression and millions of likes so far. But beyond that, there’s been no other news from the developing studio.

As of now, no one actually has an idea when the trailer will arrive. Per the developers, it’s coming early in December, but again, there’s no clarity regarding the date itself. Fans can only make endless predictions at the moment.
