The ‘Show Stealers’ of TGA

Although choosing from the hub of some extremely enjoyable performances is tough, there are some clear standouts that the fans would be rooting to see again on the TGA stage either this year or in any of the following years. Here are some unforgettable artist mementos from the event’s history:

  • Hozier and Bear Mccreary

At last year’s TGA, Hozier and Bear Mccreary, the composers of Blood Upon Snow, performed the song from the latest God of War title, God of War: Ragnarok, which released in November 2022.

  • Halsey

Halsey performed “Lilith” from Diablo 4 in 2022. And it surely is one of the most celebrated performances in TGA’s history.

  • Sting

“What Could Have Been” from Netflix’s Arcane, which was an adaptation of Riot Games’ League of Legends, was brought to life magically by Sting at TGA 2021.

  • Imagine Dragons X JID

Another Arcane-themed musical performance by Imagine Dragons, in collaboration with JID, won a lot of hearts the same year.

  • Hans Zimmer Orchestra

The legendary Hans Zimmer Orchestra kicked things off at The Game Awards 2018. And fans couldn’t have asked for a better party starter.

The track was the premier of the “brand new theme for the game awards.” And it was only fitting that in the background, the video featured some of the biggest releases from that year, including God of War and Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man.
