As a result, it becomes a versatile gun when it comes to dominate different maps and modes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Additionally, it can be turned into a killing machine by combining fitting attachments.

But recently, some players have noticed that BAS-B is unexpectedly overpowered. So much so, that devs need to make it balanced by tweaking the performance. It’s what a user on Reddit mentioned through a post. According to this individual, anyone using BAS-B is not a good player because they are only picking it up to score instant kills due to its dominant, uncontrollable output.

Call of Duty Players Are Upset With “Disgusting” Combat Features in Modern Warfare 3

Reddit user Informal-Hall1920 wrote that BAS-B is “way too strong plus the attachment pool for it makes it have zero recoil in the right hands.” In short, it’s just a beast that can’t be tamed right now. The player urged the devs to get this gun nerfed sooner than later.

There’s no doubt about the fact that the battle rifle has proven to be a reliable go-to option for most of the players. After adding the right attachments to it, they have been able to farm endless kills without using too much skills to defeat their opponents. Interestingly, BAS-B isn’t the first gun to get called out for being ‘extra lethal’.

In the past, there have been other assault rifles and SMGs, and even battle rifles, that were seen as unstoppable killing machines. For example, Modern Warfare II had Cronen Squall and Lockwood 300 shotgun (also in MW3). Eventually, the devs nerfed them down following constant complaints from the users. Now, it will be intriguing to see whether BAS-B will get the same treatment or not.
