So far, we only know that Hi-Fi Rush is making its way to the Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Windows PC. The Microsoft title was shadow-dropped on January 25, 2023, and players have loved this game, gaining it a 10/10 rating. The game features a colorful and cartoony art style which has many players wondering if the devs at Tango Gameworks will release a Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Hi-Fi Rush is not one of the graphically intensive games that need a beefy system to play the game. Having cartoony graphics has given many players the feeling that it would look beautiful as a Switch title. There have been many discussions online on the same, but a certain post from ResetEra by a known leaker might just be the reveal of a possibility of a Switch version for the game.

Why do lolilolailo’s words hold so much weight you might ask? Well, lolilolailo has been an active member of the community and in the past, they have confirmed the fact that Persona 3 Reload was going to drop before there was any news from the devs at Atlus. Taking this into consideration, fans can take this leak with a pinch of salt. Whether Hi-Fi Rush will be making it to the Switch is something only time will tell.

Why is Hi-Fi Rush such a talked-about title?

When Hi-Fi Rush was shadow-dropped, there were very few new IPs being released in the market. Bethesda felt like it would be best to capitalize the game with a shadow drop to see how well the first hype wave works for them. The plan worked and fans got to play the game the same minute they heard about it.

To make things easier for players, the game was introduced into the Xbox Game Pass which meant that players could play the game without purchasing it online. This led to the game’s growing popularity and content creation pushed it further. Many new creators started covering the game and uploading videos to YouTube which led to more gamers coming across the game.

Within the first two months of the game’s release, it had over 2 million players jump into the game. Over time, the growth slowed down, and by August the game managed to get a total of 3 million players into the 2023 title. Even at a $70 price tag, the game managed to have a player base of 3 million players.
