Operators for Milena Romanova and Kate Laswell are coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Popular industry insider Detonated recently dropped a post on X platform. The scooper revealed that early details have surfaced regarding upcoming Operators based on Milena Romanova and Kate Laswell. Which means they will finally come to the game as playable characters in Multiplayer, Warzone and also Modern Warfare Zombies.

While Laswell’s image got leaked accidentally in a recent promo by the devs, Milena’s appearance has been found through datamined files. But fans won’t mind getting these two as Operators as both are quite popular in the game. Plus, they will offer a fresh choice as far as the current pool of Operators is concerned.

Firstly speaking of Milena Romanova, she was introduced in the Call of Duty universe with Modern Warfare II in Season 4. A real-estate magnate, she’s a financer for Konni Group. The latter works for the in-game villain Vladimir Makarov. When it comes to her story, she got married to an oligarch who had close relations with Makarov.

During the Campaign of MW3, Milena was finally tracked down by Task Force 141 members, namely Simon “Ghost” Riley and Johnny “Soap” MacTavish. They found her on a private island and successfully extracted a useful information regarding Makarov’s location.

Coming onto Kate Laswell, she’s been a core part of the rebooted Modern Warfare franchise. Since 2019, she’s appeared in all three games released by Activision. She serves as the Station Chief and was mostly a non-playable character in the first two entries. In the third part, she was playable during the mission ‘Deep Cover’. Aside from the main storyline, she also appears in Modern Warfare Zombies, but as a non-playable character.

However, after the leaked intel’s reveal it’s clear that fans will soon witness them as Operators in the game. Going forward, the devs may come up with an official announcement confirming the two for Modern Warfare 3’s upcoming seasonal updates.
