Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is soon going to get its first official seasonal update. After its launch last month, players are curious to see what’s in store for them in Season 1. And one of the exciting updates is that players will be able to obtain brand new, exclusive Operators.

Modern Warfare 3’s Season 1 will be filled with numerous surprises for the fans. From new gameplay modes, maps, and weapons to a fresh iteration of Warzone, there’s a lot to watch out for. Then, there are two upcoming Operators as well. While one is highlighted for Season 1’s Battle Pass, the other is a new character making their debut in the series.

How to get Abolisher and Dokkaebi Operators

For the uninitiated, Season 1 will bring three new MP maps in the game. Apart from Meat and Greece, the third map, Rio, will be released mid-season, following the update’s launch. Moreover, MW3 will also receive five new weapons. With the likes of RAM-7 assault rifle and XRK Stalker sniper rifle, among others, players will get to increase their arsenal with more lethal options. But the arrival of new Operators is what player should be excited about.

After all, nothing is better than having an abundance of attractive skins in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Season 1 will extend this list even further with the addition of brand new Operator characters, including two exclusive ones, known as Abolisher and Dokkaebi.

Abolisher will be part of MW3’s Season 1 Battle Pass, especially the BlackCell. The biographical information for this character has been REDACTED for now. To unlock this Operator, players can simply purchase the BlackCell Battle Pass of the game. It will be possibly available for $29.99. Those who have already bought Modern Warfare 3’s Vault Edition will get it free upon the first season’s global launch.

Then there’s Dokkaebi, a skilled spy and robotic engineer. Per the official description of a pre-season blog by the devs, she’s part of the Konni Group. In short, she’s the group’s “eye in the sky”, and has been reporting behind the scenes while executing drone attacks. She’s been working for Andrei Nolan and MW3’s main villain Vladimir Makarov.

To unlock Operator Dokkaebi, players can just buy the premium BlackCell Battle Pass. Once again, it will be available for $29.99. Those who already own the game’s Vault Edition will get the BlackCell for free. Which means Dokkaebi will be available to equip once the Season 1 goes live.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s first major update will release on December 6, 2023. It will be available to download for free on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC worldwide.
