As reports of Baldur’s Gate 3 players on Xbox facing unfair bans started to trend on the web, the developers assured the community of a resolution soon. In the most recent update, Larian Studios’ Director of Publishing, Michael Douse, through their X handle, has confirmed working on the issue. The latter, joining the thread of the company’s official statement on the bans, wrote, “Got confirmation this morning that bans are beginning to lift. We’re in discussion with Microsoft but I’ll let them handle any of their own policy discussions. Progress!”

According to the claim, Xbox has started lifting the bans, but there are still plenty of discussions planned to adapt to the policies. Fans will soon get to know what kind of content wouldn’t be flagged from the GOTY’s media. For the time being, the developers have issued an advisory for the Xbox players. To avoid any unnecessary attention from the Microsoft servers, make sure to turn off mature content while trying to upload media on the Microsoft servers.
