

The Fortnite Festival is a new game mode that introduces a RockBand-like element to the game. This mini-game mode is not developed by Epic Games but by Harmonix, the team behind Guitar Hero and RockBand. Players have already got to test a short demo during the Big Bang event. The game mode was set to launch on December 9 and the update is currently live and running. While many players jump into the musical game mode of Fortnite, some wonder what songs will be playable in the Fortnite Festival for free.

List of all the free songs players can use during the Fortnite Festival
The Fortnite Festival lineup has 29 different artists and groups. The setlist for the Festival has 33 songs that players can pick from. While all songs are available in the game, not all are for free. Out of all the 33 songs, only 12 will be playable for free.

What items will players get during the Fortnite Festival?
The Fortnite Festival has been introduced as a part of the Chapter 5 Season 1 update. The Season Pass for Season 1, titled Opening Night, is filled with rewards and tracks for players. The Season Pass offers both free and paid options for players, similar to the Battle Pass system. Unlike the Battle Pass, the Festival Season 1 Pass costs 1800 V-Bucks, making it a relatively more expensive purchase in the game.
