According to the Epic Games website, “Fortnite Festival is a new music game where players can play in a band with friends or perform solo on stage with hit music by their favorite artists.” Additionally, different artists will come and perform live in the festival mode, and fans can play along with them. With that said, one artist has been getting a lot of attention upon their reveal.

The Weeknd is an iconic artist who has mastered the sound of synth-pop. The Grammy award-winning artist is set to make his way to the Fortnite Festival, and players will be able to use his skin while watching him live. Scheduled for December 9th, the Fortnite Music Festival follows the Eminem Big Bang Event. The Weeknd is expected to make an appearance on December 9. This news was recently revealed on Twitter. iFireMonkey took to their Twitter handle to disclose “The Weeknd is NOT just a Fortnite Festival collab, it’s a skin for BR (Battle Royale) as well.” Players will have the ability to use the skin even after the conclusion of the Fortnite Festival event. This makes it clear that players will be able to use this skin across other game modes, which is great news for any Weeknd fans.

While The Weeknd is making his way to the Fortnite Festival, Epic Games has a lot more in store for players.
