As gamers bid farewell to 2023 and embraced the dawn of 2024, the Xbox Game Pass community received a thrilling New Year’s gift. In 2024, Xbox has plans to add many games to its catalog. That means players will get to see many new games in the Game Pass, as Xbox has announced,

Megan Spurr, the Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass, has shared exciting news about upcoming additions and updates. According to her latest post on the Xbox website, there is a lot in store to for 2024, so let’s dive in and see what Microsoft has to offer for the new year.

New Adventures Await – Games Available and Coming Soon:

The gaming universe expands for Xbox Game Pass subscribers with a lineup that caters to various tastes and preferences. Already available for exploration is the gripping steampunk adventure, “Close to the Sun,” where players navigate Tesla’s Helios in search of answers. However, the excitement doesn’t end there. On January 4, “Hell Let Loose” storms the virtual battlefields, offering an immersive World War II experience with epic 100-player battles, emphasizing teamwork and strategic decisions as a matter of life and death.

Looking ahead to January 9, brace yourself for the critically acclaimed “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.” It invites players to step into the shoes of Eivor, a legendary Viking warrior. Simultaneously, “Figment” calls adventurers into a surreal universe filled with music, humor, and a captivating narrative. The gaming extravaganza continues on January 11 with the return of “We Happy Few.” It challenges players to navigate a delusional, Joy-obsessed world in an alternative 1960s England. Meanwhile, via EA Play, “Super Mega Baseball 4” steps up to the plate, combining arcade-inspired style with immersive gameplay on January 11.

Mark your calendars for January 16 as “Resident Evil 2” comes back with revamped visuals, modern gameplay mechanics, and an over-the-shoulder perspective, inviting players to revisit the nightmare of Raccoon City. Joining the list is “Those Who Remain,” a first-person psychological thriller set in the eerie town of Dormont. And this makes all the games that we are getting in the game pass. But knowing Xbox, new games are not the only thing that keeps fans subscribed to the service. Many games receive DLCs and major updates, and we will be addressing them too.

Add-ons and leaving titles

Besides the new game releases, Xbox Game Pass members have more reasons to celebrate with exciting updates and add-ons. “Dead by Daylight: Chucky” introduces the iconic horror legend into the game, offering a new Killer and an exclusive Charm: Good Guys Box for those brave enough to venture into the Fog. Meanwhile, the “Hello Neighbor 2 Anniversary Update” provides a fresh experience with a new forest area, a mysterious church, and an abandoned graveyard to explore, promising eerie encounters.

For seafaring adventurers in “Sea of Thieves,” Season Ten brings a new way to sail with the Safer Seas mode. This allows players to immerse themselves in adventures at their own pace or challenge other crews in the existing High Seas mode. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks come in the form of the “Sea of Thieves: Nightshine Parrot Pack.” This pack offers exclusive in-game items and 10,000 gold to enhance pirate journeys.

As we welcome these new games, Xbox Game Pass bids adieu to some titles. Grand Theft Auto V is leaving Cloud and Console on January 5, followed by Garden Story, MotoGP 22, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable departing on January 15.
