Unfortunately, the information isn’t provided for the same at the purchase but the deadline for the pass has been officially confirmed to be December 6. Due to this alleged miscommunication, a lot of players are wondering if the Season 6 battle pass for Modern Warfare 2 would be accessible after the deadline. 

The answer is “no”. You won’t be able to access the pass once you miss the December 6 deadline. A Reddit user ranted on the platform and wrote, “I thought it would run longer because the game just came out. Is there any way I can complete this pass after the next one starts or possibly refund it? My work schedule will not allow me to grind the rest of it fast enough.”

It is important to note that the current battle pass the user’s been leveling up is from the previous MW2 and all unlocks transfer to MW3 as every item says it. Still, the user’s rant went viral on the platform inviting a lot of furious reactions from the community as they all lashed out at the developers for missing out on providing such an important detail.

It appears just like most of the netizens who came across the Reddit rant had their schedules set to enjoy their battle pass only to realize it’s a short-held deadline. A heated streak of callouts and furious comments is what followed in the discussion.

A user blames the Call of Duty developers for using ‘unfair means of marketing’ as they wrote, “Upvote this guys because basic info is missing in the game. We should not tolerate missleading practices. Yes you can search on google when the season ends but this info should be in-game when buying the pass. Which it is not.” 

Another Call of Duty fan seemed highly disappointed with the chaos, wrote, “The fact that they launched their new game with a battle pass from the old game and removed the end date is so bad. The average person though this battle pass would go the average 3 months.”

“The end date is missing on purpose in game”, a player feels the miscommunication was intentional as a marketing stunt.

Another gamer feels the pain, “I am in the same boat as you, I might contact support honestly. I figured there would be at least another month, but nope”, their comment reads. 

“You either get a charge back from your bank which will most likely get you banned from playing, or you buy the tier skips for 150 credits per skip which will cost quite a bit more”, a user has a possible solution to the loss.
