A few days ago, it transpired that Spanish tennis star, Garbine Muguruza will be teamming up with Barcelona legend Carles Puyol. The two came up with a Tennis/Football challenge, where both of them will be playing each other’s game ahead of the Miami Open.

So first, Muguruza and Puyol played a round of tennis and later they had a small round of football. Both players were simply lobbing the ball over the net and passing to each other. All in all, Puyol and Muguruza had a great time playing and bonding on the Miami court ahead of the Miami Open.

The venue for the event was the Hard Rock stadium, which will be hosting the Miami Open instead of Key Biscayne.

With regard to the main tournament, the Spaniard has got a bye in the opening round. Now, in the second round, she will either face Monica Niculescu or Tamara Zidansek.
